MTF PO3 Fractal Pro maps the Power of 3 cycle (Accumulation → Manipulation → Distribution) across multiple timeframes simultaneously. It detects the institutional sweep of a prior high or low (C1), tracks the retracement candle (C2), confirms a Change in State of Delivery (CISD), and projects standard deviation targets — giving you a complete, rules-based execution framework.
What It Does
MTF PO3 Fractal Pro is a full-stack PO3 detection engine. It reconstructs the higher timeframe (HTF) candle directly on your lower timeframe (LTF) chart, then detects the complete PO3 sequence within that HTF structure — so you never have to switch timeframes to see the setup forming.
It also includes SMT Divergence detection, Fair Value Gap mapping across up to three timeframes, an IFVG (Inverted FVG) system, and session-level detection for Asia, London, and New York — all unified in a single indicator with a shared drawing budget.
Key Features
The PO3 Formation — How It Works
The indicator tracks a strict 4-candle sequence (C0 → C1 → C2 → CISD) on the HTF:
C0 — Prior Reference
The candle whose high (bearish setup) or low (bullish setup) will be swept. Defines the liquidity pool that institutions target.
C1 — The Sweep
The candle that wicks beyond C0's high or low, sweeping the liquidity. The sweep line is drawn from this wick. The orange label marks the C2 swing point.
C2 — The Retracement
The candle that retraces back into the range after the sweep. The CISD level is set from the open of the first opposing candle within C2. A C2 label (orange) marks this swing.
CISD — Entry Trigger
A close through the CISD level confirms the change in delivery. Standard deviation projections and formation liquidity levels extend from this confirmation.
Supported Fractal Pairs
The indicator automatically selects the correct HTF based on your LTF chart, or you can choose manually:
| LTF (Your Chart) | HTF (Automatic) | Quarterly Mode |
|---|---|---|
| 1s | 1m | — |
| 1m | 15m | 22.5m Micro Quarter |
| 3m / 5m | 30m / 1H | 90-Min Cycle |
| 15m / 30m | 4H | 6H Daily Quarter |
| 1H | 1D | — |
| 4H | 1W | — |

General Settings
Alerts
Master toggle for all alerts. To create an alert: right-click the indicator → Add Alert. If you change any settings, delete and re-create the alert. Live alerts fire when a CISD triggers on a live (in-progress) setup.
History
Number of historical setups to display. Visible Only mode: setups on visible HTF candles are always shown; the history count adds older setups that scrolled off-screen. When off, only the total count is respected.
Fractal Mode
Controls which HTF is paired with your current chart timeframe.
Quarterly: Uses ICT Quarterly Theory session-based candles. On 1m charts this becomes 22.5-minute Micro Quarters; on 3m/5m it becomes 90-minute cycles; on 15m/30m it becomes 6-hour Daily Quarters.
Custom: Set your own LTF and HTF pair using the two timeframe pickers.
Bias
Filter displayed setups by direction. Neutral shows both bullish and bearish setups. Bullish shows only low sweeps. Bearish shows only high sweeps.
HTF Candles
HTF Candles Count & Size
Controls how many HTF candles are drawn on your chart (minval: 4) and their visual width (Small / Normal / Big).
Offset
Shifts the HTF candle drawing to the right on your chart (default: 10 bars). Increase this if the candles overlap with your LTF price action.
Body / Border / Wick Colors
Independent color controls for bull and bear HTF candles. Each component (body, border, wick) can be styled separately for bullish and bearish candles.
HTF Open Trace
Draws a horizontal line at the HTF candle's open price, extending across the LTF chart. Useful for tracking where price sits relative to the HTF open.
Vertical Lines
Draws vertical lines at each HTF candle boundary, separating where one HTF candle ends and the next begins.
L/H Lines
Plots horizontal lines at the HTF candle's high and low, extending across the candle's LTF range.
Previous EQ (Equilibrium)
Plots the midpoint of the previous HTF candle. Drawings Type controls where it appears: On Chart (price chart line), HTF candle (on the HTF projection), or Both.
Sweeps & Setups
Show Sweeps
Master toggle for sweep detection. When enabled, the indicator tracks when price wicks beyond a prior HTF candle high or low and starts monitoring for C2 confirmation.
Show Live Setup
Displays the in-progress setup while it is still developing (before C2 close). Toggle off to only show confirmed, completed setups.
CISD (Change in State of Delivery)
Draws the CISD level — a horizontal line at the open of the first opposing candle within C2. When price closes through this level, the setup is confirmed and projections activate.
Pending CISD: shown as a dotted line before confirmation.
Ghost CISD: expired or failed CISD levels drawn in a muted style.
Anti-Overwrite: when C2 close moves the CISD level, the original level stays 50% transparent so both are visible.
IC-CISD (In-Candle CISD)
Detects same-side CISD structures that form within the main formation after the initial CISD confirms, through C4. Active from main CISD confirm until setup resolves or C4 invalidates. Uses the same color and style settings as the main CISD.
C2 Label
The orange label marking the C2 swing high (bearish) or swing low (bullish). This is the reference point for the formation and the anchor for your bias.
Quantitative Edge Guidance
Backtested Target Guidance
The 11,100-trade research study confirms that a 15-point Take Profit on NQ futures is the optimal sweet spot, hitting 86-87% of the time. 10-point targets leave money on the table, while 30-point targets degrade significantly as Maximum Favorable Excursion requires too many bars of straight-line movement.
Optimal Entry Windows (Killzones)
Time of day is the most critical filter for this setup. The 18:00 - 19:00 ET window (Asian Open) produces the highest win rate at 93.6%. The 09:00 - 10:00 ET window is second highest. We strongly advise against trading the 16:00 ET (NY Close) window, which drops to a 51.5% coin-flip win rate.
Failed Setup Markers
Instead of silently disappearing, failed setups are marked with distinct labels so you can review them later and refine your model.
xC2 — Invalidated
C2 closed beyond the C2 extreme after CISD triggered. The setup is no longer valid.
→C2 — Cascade
A new sweep replaced the current setup before it resolved (cascade scenario).
○C2 — Expired
The setup ran out of HTF candles (beyond C4 window) without a CISD trigger.
xF — Failed Sweep
The initial sweep was detected but price failed to confirm — it did not close back within the range to establish C2.
Standard Deviation Projections
Enable Projections
Master toggle. When on, deviation levels are drawn from the CISD anchor after confirmation.
Type
Wick uses the full wick range of the formation for deviation calculations. Body uses the body-to-body range. ICT's teachings suggest wicks align with PD Arrays and impactful reactions, while bodies highlight institutional activity zones.
Deviation Levels
Enter a comma-separated list of deviation levels to project (e.g. 0, 1, -1, -2, -2.5). Negative values project in the opposite direction. Common values: 0.62 for OTE, -2.5 for deep extension targets. No need to enter both positive and negative — the script mirrors them automatically based on the formation's direction.
Formation Liquidity
Formation Liquidity Lines
Plots dotted horizontal lines at the C1 and C0 liquidity pool highs/lows. These are the levels that institutions swept to initiate the formation. When price returns to cross these levels, they are marked as mitigated. Useful for tracking when the full liquidity draw has completed.
SMT Divergence
Automatic Mode
The indicator automatically selects the correct correlated symbol based on what is on your chart:
GC (Gold) ↔ Silver · CL (Oil) ↔ USOIL
EUR/USD ↔ GBP/USD · BTC ↔ ETH
Manual Mode
Override the auto-detected symbol and input your own primary and secondary comparison symbols. Useful for custom correlations or markets not in the auto-lookup table.
Adjacent Wicks & Pivots
Adjacent Wicks: detects SMT on consecutive bars where one symbol makes a new high/low and the correlated symbol does not.
Pivots: uses a swing pivot detection algorithm (configurable length) to find structural SMT divergences across a wider lookback.
